Bulletin Board #24
#1 Thanks to Terri Clark
As a personal favor, I'd like for you to contact the country singer, Terri Clark, and thank her for her donation to the Havoc Crew Memorial being built on Dyes AFB.
As many of you will remember, that was the aircraft that was supporting president Clintons trip out west and crashed in Colorado. You may also remember that a brother-of-the-shield was on that aircraft; Al Frascoia, a member of the Secret Service and former Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations also died and is to be part of the memorial plans. Al was a friend of mine and I'd appreciate it a lot.
Let her know that people in the Security and Law Enforcement fields and the military appreciates what she did.
E-mail will get to her through the following:
wrangler@avana.net
Thanks a lot

Your bulletin board has gone to the dogs! Any more Ross articles and I will
have to cancel my subscription. Please screen what you are putting in the BB and try to keep it related to TSCM.
Thanks,
Gary
I recall sending an email to you for your consumption that outlined some of
my concerns and questions regarding TSCM training. Here's a quote from the
letter:
"Anyway - what I have found is the usual cross-section of
people....those with monumental egos based on +30 year old credentials
and those who go quietly about their work and earn a solid living
performing counter-measures sweeps. Of course, there are many different
types in between the two extremes from the PI who occasionally performs
TSCM sweeps to the full time, former government agent who wrote the book,
so to speak."
I have to confess - Mr. Ross has added a new dimension to the
"personalities" involved in TSCM. His newsletter really galls me with
it's inaccuracies and unfounded allegations. I sincerely hope no one
takes it too seriously. It's the kind of inflammatory junk that leads
crack-pots and lunatics to bomb federal buildings and Olympic venues.
There - I feel better after getting that off my chest.

Best Regards,
(not for publication, or at least not so it could be traced back to
me in any way) -- Re Jim Ross, well -- he has his own agenda. Any
work he is doing with any organization of security types is to feed
his own ego as the first and highest priority. The industry considers
Jim Ross (aka "The Pontiff") a wannabee, and associating with
anything he is involved with would not do much good to one's
credibility. If you've been to Surveillance Expo, you'll know what I
mean about credibility.
ABOVE PARAGRAPH NOT TO BE TRACEABLE TO ME!

Tim,
Steve Kerley used to be involved in the same business as your client.
He might have some info for you. You can contact him at

Tim, we manufacture several body wires and have no problem selling to
*legitimate* private sector users.
Info is on our website. If someone is seriously interested and needs
data sheets with photos, they can call me. I am not interested in
hearing from resellers or wannabees. There are many options for
receivers, and we do not get into this on the website. Someone
serious should call me to discuss. Note I will be TDY most of next
week at Secret Service, anyone down there for the event should look
me up.
Two large surveillance equipment "manufacturers" resell our body
transmitters under their own name. The units start here.

#4 This one is for the OSI types. That's the main reason you're receiving this copy of the BB.

Tim:
Short note to let you know I just heard from a prior OSI friend stationed in
LA Air Force in 1973. He found me through our OSI listing. This really works.
We are getting together later next month. Keep up the good work.Thanks.
Jim Renshaw
That's it for this go around, folks.
Toni and I will be in Las Vegas until Saturday or Sunday; if I can get out of town before 8 AM tomorrow, I think I've got it made. If you'rew going to be in Vegas, I'll be staying at the Circus Circus. I've got to get my PI license renewed and meet and greet people over there.
Send me any more responses to anything you've received.
I almost forgot:
Four workers were discussing how smart their dogs were. The first was an engineer who said that his dog, name T-Square, could do math with calculations. He told his to get some paper and draw a square, a circle, and a triangle, which the dog did with no sweat. The accountant said he thought his dog, Slide Rule was better. He told
him to fetch a dozen cookies, bring them back, and divide them into piles of three, which he did with, no problem.
The chemist said that was good, but he felt that his dog, named Measure, was better. He told Measure to get a quart of milk and pour seven ounces into a ten-ounce glass. He did this with ease.
All three men agreed this was very good and their dogs were equally smart.
They all turned to the Union Member and said, " What can your dog do?" The Teamster member called his dog, named Coffee Break, and said, "Show these fellows what you can do." Coffee Break went over and ate the cookies,
drank the milk, pooped on the paper, screwed the other three dogs and claimed he injured his back while doing it. He filed a grievance for unsafe working conditions, applied for Workmen's Compensation benefits and left for home
on sick leave!
